December 5, 2014:

AIWEFA in partnership with NIOS & UNFPA mobilised underprivileged women to be Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) trained safe car drivers. The mobilisation process is continuing and AIWEFA has to recommend 300 eligible women after screening, fro the training.

December 15, 2014:

The orientation program for 85 eligible women took place at Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi, the IDTR center of MSIL. The 35 1/2 hours (36) days training for these candidates is underway at more than 10 IDTR centres in Delhi NCR.

December 22, 2014:

INAUGURAL PROGRAMME for 85th foundation year celebrations and Launch of Women Car Driver Training by Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) were held at IIC New Delhi.
It was inegurated Honorable Justice Mr. Aftab Alam.  Mr. Kapil Sibal Sr. Advocate was the chief guest for the function and recited his lyric ‘Ladli’ from the album ‘Raunak’. The Nukkad Natak by Asmita Group on safe car driving by women was a big draw.
