(4). “Briquette Making from Green Waste” demonstration  on 25 October 2016 in association with  RMDA dept. of Lady Irwin College.

Briquetting of agro and forest biomass is one of the most environment friendly and cheap methods of preparation of domestic fuel. This technology was developed by IIT, New Delhi.

(5).Tree plantation,“ VRIKSHAROPAN.on 30 August 2016 in the garden outside AIWEFA office. . This was a symbolic activity undertaken by Lady Irwin College and AIWEFA to support  the afforestation drive as part of Van Mahotsav Celebrations.  in a bid to retain the vanishing forest covers of the country.

(12).Swachh Lohri”  campaign 13 January 2015 at AIWEFA –office, Lady Irwin College, New Delhi.

A “Swachh Lohri” campaign was lead by Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, MP from AIWEFA office, Lady Irwin College to Bengali market via Babar road. The Lady Irwin College students and staff joined the lohri celebrations with great enthusiasm singing and dancing to the dhol beats. The Eco club of Lady Irwin College organized ‘compititions on Environment’ as well.

(13) “Inaugural Function of 85th Foundation Year” & ” Launch of Car Driver Training” at IIC, New Delhi, 22 December 2014.

On 22nd December, 2014, AIWEFA held its inaugural function of its 85th year celebrations at IIC, where Justice Aftab Alam was the Chief Guest and Mr. Mahesh Rajoria, General Manager,MSIL launched the Women ‘s Safe Car Driver Training. The launch was partly supported by MSIL

There was a Lyrics recitals of ‘Ladli” from the album ‘Raunaq’ and video presentation by the Guest of Honour Mr. Kapil Sibal, Senior Advocate and Nukkad Natak on Safe Car Driving presented by Asmita Theatre Group. Audience really applauded both the music and the Street Theater.
