Courses Conducted at GRC

Four Courses of 6 month duration twice a year. Each Course has two batches with about 25 students per batch. Classes are held for each batch for duration of two hours everyday, 5 days a week. The age group of beneficiaries is between 18 to 25 years.

Personality development and English Speaking Classes for the students are also organised. Some Life Enrichment Education ( LEE) classes are also arranged in order to help students understand the methods of first aid, causes of AIDS and its prevention and cure, importance of gender equality, impact of population growth, problems of adolescents, importance of public relation skills and basic knowledge of legal aspects useful in everyday life.

On completion of the modules, students are certified by the Jan Shikshan Sansthan and are assisted in getting placements. The syllabus followed is approved by the Jan Shikshan Sansthan. The methodology of training includes:

Audiovisual material
Computer aided techniques
Field visits
Placement / on the job training


Computer Applications

Computer application is one of the most popular of the courses at the Centre. Practical and theoretical knowledge is imparted to the students to enable them to be at par with the changing environment.
