D. Income Generation and Vocational Training:
1) Arts and Crafts classes were organised in Pataudi and Daboda
and Tirpari.
2) Tailoring classes were held in all the three villages where
sewing machines, embroidery machines, and other materials
like cloth, threads, black boards were provided. Nearly 80
adolescent girls completed the six month course in tailoring.
3) Beautician Classes in two batches were held at Pataudi.
E.Capacity Development:
1) Workshops for the Trainers and Leaders were held regularly
at the AIWEFA office to introduce best practices, impart standardization
of training and to strengthen the links with AIWEFA.
2) AIWEFA approached Rural Development & Self –
Employment Training Institute (RUDSET) and Vishwa Yuvak Kendra
to impart Career Guidance and to hold Training Workshops for
Vocational Skills and Youth Entrepreneurship, Youth Groups
from the three villages were guided and trained on how to
avail of bank loans, run their businesses and market their
produce, Several youth were motivated to start their own enterprises.
